This project will provide us with an understanding of the ways in which Internet features may foster the learning of those who are marginalised by more traditional face-to-face learning and the role that the Internet can play in complementing other forms of educational interaction. The relative educational value of different types of Internet use will be studied, including factors in institutions that can affect the degree to which their educational websites and services actually achieve their aims for farmers.
